The National Institute of Technology Warangal Entrepreneurship and Innovation Foundation (NITWIEF) is an initiative established by the National Institute of Technology Warangal under Section 8 of The Companies Act, 2013. Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant startup ecosystem within the NIT Warangal community, promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation
At NITWIEF, we are dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial efforts by providing comprehensive support, including funding, mentorship, and management resources. Our aim is to empower individuals and teams to turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures, driving growth and development in both academic and industrial spaces. Through our initiatives, we are committed to shaping the future of entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for sustainable business models, and enabling long-term success for startups.
Objectives

To nurture the translation of ideas and innovations emerging from the scientific, technological and knowledge capital, to generate commercial and social impact and to contribute to the economic development and social well-being of the region and country by building the necessary infrastructure for creation and translation of technology to market readiness, by supporting adoption of it by existing ventures and creation of startup ventures, and by creating networks between academia, industry and financial institutions and other such assistance as required.

To create an environment for successful translation of scientific research and knowledge by building and sharing resources, networks, competencies and expertise in key areas at the interfaces of technology and innovation, business and entrepreneurship, and government and policy.

To foster the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in individuals and groups to address the current and emerging societal needs by providing an effective channel to bridge the gap between scientific research and knowledge creation at NIT Warangal and allied institutions, and commercialization on the other hand to deliver innovative solutions to the requirements of the market or society at large.

To facilitate co-operation and interaction between academia and industry (specifically between NIT Warangal and enterprises, entrepreneurs in various sectors) and promote innovation through formal and informal means, to identify, conceptualize, implement joint projects between companies/entrepreneurs and faculty/students of NIT Warangal.
